Hofstra Drama 20 – Sound for the Theatre

1. 2/23/12, 7:30, The Playhouse Stage.

2. The humming of generators, Athena calling “lights out,” coughing, the echos from lines being said, laughing.

3. Chains clinking, footsteps and pounding on the stage, Zach saying his lines.

4. The squeezing of men’s shoes, footsteps of pacing behind me, my typing on my keyboard.

5. The sound level is mild. Only one person is speaking at a time in this scene and there is not much movement therefore, there is no pounding from footsteps.

6. Focused.

7. The lines being spoken, the humming of the generator, and the echoing.
